Cheppra is a beautiful place, just 1 hour drive from Thrisssur town. It is not marked as a tourist place yet but lot of people came to enjoy the scenic beauty of Cheppara. As the word ‘para’ means cheppara is a giant rock, covers an area of almost one kilometer. Here the wind blows strongly, fears that it may carry us in air. It is very nice to watch sun setting from Cheppara. The main attraction of Cheppara is its length, about 500 m. People can reach here by traveling 20 km from thrissur town. Route is Thrissur-Athani-Poomala-Cheppara.
